The Full Members and Member Organisations together constitute the General Meeting. This is the Academy’s supreme governing body and is convened by the Executive Committee once a year. The General Meeting is coordinated by the Secretariat. The Secretariat is the first point of contact for all Full Members and promotes dialogue within the network.
IIndividual members of the Academy may be elected from among persons who are experts in their field and who are also particularly committed to the goals of the Academy and/or to technical sciences. Full Members are elected by a secret ballot of people eligible to vote at the General Meeting using a procedure governed by special Nomination Regulations and directed by the Nomination Committee. The General Meeting can appoint as Honorary Members individuals who have made special contributions to the Academy.
This year, SATW added 19 new Full Members to its network: Newly elected Full Members in 2025.
