To ensure the quality of its scientific publications, the SATW subjects them to a peer review process. For this purpose, external experts are consulted who are proposed by the editorial team or the authors and confirmed by the editor-in-chief. The selection is based on the respective subject area. As part of a double-blind process - the identities of the authors and reviewers remain mutually anonymous - the experts answer a structured list of questions. This serves to standardize and systematically evaluate feedback on aspects such as comprehensibility, verifiability and objectivity. In this way, SATW guarantees scientific quality and transparency.
The SATW would like to thank all reviewers for their valuable commitment. With their professional expertise and careful examination, they make a significant contribution to the quality and credibility of our publications. Their work often takes place in the background - so it is all the more important for us to make it visible here.
