The Executive Committee manages the Secretariat. It works within the framework of SATW’s multi-year planning and in close collaboration with the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences to define the strategy that the Secretariat implements at operational level. The Executive Committee liaises with all members, harnessing their expertise and networks to achieve strategic goals such as international cooperation goals. The Executive Committee also promotes interdisciplinary activities through the support it provides to Member Organisations, for example in the form of grants for Member Organisations. The Executive Committee is advised by the Industrial Advisory Board on strategic and industrial policy matters and by the Scientific Advisory Board on strategic and science policy matters.
