STEM Youth Barometer Switzerland 2026: New Findings on Supporting Young People

How can we attract more young people to maths, IT, science and technology? The Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences present the STEM Young Talent Barometer Switzerland 2026 - a new study based on surveys of over 5,000 adolescents and young adults from all over Switzerland on their interests, perceptions and educational decisions in the STEM field. The study was conducted by Prof. Dr Susanne Metzger and Laura Villardita (PH FHNW / University of Basel) on behalf of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences - under the direction of SATW.
