Additive Fertigung verspricht Designfreiheit, bedarf aber komplexer Maschinen und fundierten Fachwissens. Entsprechende Forschungsprojekte sind daher meist kostspielig und aufwändig. Die SATW Expert:innengruppe Additive Manufacturing tauscht sich regelmässig zu aktuellen Forschungsvorhaben in dem Bereich aus. Dies erlaubt eine bessere Auslastung der Forschungsinfrastruktur und einen effektiveren Wissensaustausch im Bereich der Material- und Prozessentwicklung.
