We often say that we need more women in science because they bring a diversity of points of view, that science should be inclusive of all genders and their different sensibilities, practices and life experiences. This is true, but more than anything women should massively enter the sciences because the sciences are fun, fascinating, they question our rationality and our place in the world, they are the sciences of the future, of the imagination, and of the infinite possibilities. I work in trying to make computers understand and produce language, computers that can speak and reason in many languages. This is the realm of dreams and possibilities, of technical challenges and achievements. Women and girls should be part of it. This is our world too, we should own it too and everybody, especially men, should cheer us for doing it.

We need more women in science because women are an integral part of society and they proved that their intelligence level is the same as that of men. Women have a special brain structure that makes their way of thinking unique. And thinking other than masculine, as well as the peculiarities of thinking and the flexibility of the psyche can potentially lead to new discoveries and creative solutions. Women must feel their freedom and need for science, even if it is literature or astrophysics.

 In my opinion, the only thing that will help a woman or a girl increase the chance to be engaged in scientific activities is to believe in yourself. If our society changes the traditional roles of men and women, then the chance of women's success in science will increase significantly.
