SATW Transferkolleg
SATW has set up its Transferkolleg to encourage contact and collaboration between scientists from academia and those developing products in companies. In this way it supports promising innovative projects at a very early stage with a financial contribution, and gives those developing the products an opportunity to discuss their projects constructively with technical colleges and to seek advice from experts on technology transfer in an atmosphere of cooperation.
Target groups
In the Transferkolleg a university researcher and a product developer from the industry work together. Jointly they generate an idea for a new, marketable product and submit this to SATW.
Benefits
Project ideas that are accepted receive a grant of CHF 16,000. The project partners can use this grant to test the feasibility of their idea. The project partners take part in a workshop. At this workshop they assess the future prospects of their project idea under the guidance of proven experts in innovation and work out suitable measures for its further development.
