GM – Leading the way to electrification of the automobile
Abstract
"The growth of motorized mobility needs could more than double the size of the global vehicle car park by 2030, placing an unbearable load on the planet's natural resources. GM has defined a path towards sustainable mobility which starts today and leads towards the electrification of the automobile. GM has the resources to address the breadth of alternative fuels needed in, and best suited for, the various parts of the world. Together with most vehicle manufacturers and energy providers, we believe that hydrogen is slated to become the main energy carrier of the future. GM's Fuel Cell activities aim at leading the way to an affordable, convenient and emissions-free transportation technology."
