Rolf Hügli takes over management of the SATW office.
Zurich, 9 January 2008. The SATW has named Rolf Hügli (49) the new Secretary General. He will take over management of the office at the beginning of March and replaces Dr. Hans Hänni who will relinquish the position he has held for the last six years due to health reasons. Rolf Hügli studied electrical engineering at the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Zurich and completed his doctorate at the Microwave Laboratory. Among other things, he has worked at Balzers Hochvakuumtechnik as Product and Sales Manager, at the SRG as the Head of Multimedia Management and at the Telekurs Group as the Head of Business Management. The last position he held was at Swisscom AG where he was Head of Payment. Rolf Hügli lives in Feldmeilen, is married and is the father of two children.
